In Africa Cup of Nations Wilfried Zaha Omitted from Ivory Coast Squad

In the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Wilfried Zaha has been left out From Ivory Coast squad.

In Africa Cup of Nations Wilfried Zaha the 31-year-old Galatasaray forward with 31 appearances and five goals for the Elephants, won’t feature in the Ivory Coast squad for the impending Africa Cup of Nations.
Despite his limited national team appearances this year—just two matches—his absence was notable as head coach Jean-Louis Gasset finalized the 23-man roster.

Among the squad members, several players based in England have made the cut, including Nottingham Forest’s Willy Boly, Ibrahim Sangare, and Serge Aurier. Additionally, Brighton and Hove Albion forward Simon Adingra and Hull City’s Jean Michael Seri are part of the roster. Set in Group A for AFCON, Ivory Coast is slated to clash with Guinea-Bissau, Nigeria, and Equatorial Guinea during the tournament.
